I waited to post this till this till my video uploaded. It takes ages, you know! Started the upload last night and it was only done by this morning!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jExGEjZq2Ko

I found the blaster to be fairly comfortable to hold after the initial strangeness of the thumb-through-the-hole grip (if there's a technical name for it, let me know!)

The blaster is back heavy with its four D batteries housed in the stock, in contrast to the Rapidstrike's front heavy composition.

At first, I thought the blaster was broken because it wasn't revving when I installed batteries. Turns out there's a switch on the jam door which needs to be switched first!

On 3 IMRs (Yes, of course I did that... and more! Video below), it hits around 550ish rounds per minute, making it a dart hose.

https://youtu.be/gVvRv3WyUmQ

Rate of fire data collected whilst filming in video order:

Rapidstrike 4 x 1.5v C Bat - Emptied 25 dart drum in 9.08s, which equates to 165.2 darts per minute (D/m) and 2.75 darts per second (D/s).
Hyperfire 4 x 1.5v D Bat - Drum 5.38s, 267.66 D/m, 4.46 D/s.

Rapidstrike 2 x Efest IMR Bat - Drum 4.98s, 301.2 D/m, 5.02 D/s.
Hyperfire 2 x Efest IMR Bat - Drum 4.98s, 373.13 D/m, 6.22 D/s.

Rapidstrike 3 x Efest IMR Bat - Drum 3.03s, 495.05 D/m, 8.25 D/s.
Hyperfire 3 x Efest IMR Bat - Drum 2.61s, 574.71 D/m, 9.58 D/s.

Rapidstrike 4 x Efest IMR Bat - Drum 2.46s, 609.76 D/m, 10.16 D/s.
Hyperfire 4 x Efest IMR Bat - Drum 2.67s, 561.80 D/m, 9.36 D/s.

Interestingly, I've found that the rate of fire of Hyperfire on 2 IMRs and Rapidstrike on 3 IMRs is sometimes closer than was the case in this video. There also seems to be a difference between the rate of fire of Koosh Darts and the fresh Elites it came with.

Further, I found that Koosh darts left the blaster at a lower velocity than stock.

Speaking of velocities, the Hyperfire on 2 and 3 IMRs (70ish, 80ish) is beaten by the Rapidstrike on 2 and 3 IMRs (75ish, 80ish), the RS darts travelling about 10 fps faster on each occasion. Stock performance is superior to Rapidstrike, both in terms of rate of fire and dart velocity (40ish Rapidstrike, 55-60ish)

In short, the Hyperfire is superior to its other main blaster of comparison and on 2 IMRs is equal to the Rapidstrike on 3 IMRs.

I didn't notice a difference in spring strength between the orange fronted 25 dart drum it came with and the old grey-fronted 25 dart drum, but that was just me!

My intention (when I have time) is to rewire, possibly wiring in a Lipo connection which will also allow the stock battery tray to be retained.

How is the accuracy/consistency at those ultra-high RPMs?
