Anyone on here have experience with Arduino controlled electric Nerfs ie a Havok?
I have an Arduino controlling the firing of the Havok, but I am having issues with the circuit.
I have a circuit which finally controls a TIP122 darlington which controls the Havok, but it runs really slowly. If I short the connections (bypassing the TIP122) it fires like it should so I know the issue is the TIP122
Should I go with a FET instead?
Yeah, use an IRF44ZN N Channel MOSFET instead.

On a similar note, do you know who's good for small run PCBs?
No idea, I'm afraid. We just make stuff in house by soldering it all together. Generally the stuff we make doesn't require things like DIPs so we can just wire it to TO-220 package legs and tuck it away in a blaster.
Thats what I've done in the past, but I'm not very good at making protoboards very space effective!
I'll just wedge a nano in there somewhere and make it fit.
