Look at Me Ma I'm A Sneeper- Reflex Sight & Suppressor!!

Sorry about the silly title, couldn't resist.
Rather than wasting money on Nerf scopes I thought I would treat myself to a new reflex sight with a broader field of view than my old one. It was a measly 12 on bay. Here it is on the Rampatrooopers top rail,

It has both red or green settings and 4 different reticules I like this one as its big (like the target area needs to be!) so I can see it against most backgrounds. This is zeroed for 20ft, as thats the max distance you can see in my indoor venue. I am getting a zoom one next month so I can see really close up as my dart misses....

Kill confirmed....

Where's the rail available?
OldNoob

BSUK made the rail. They have a variety of lengths and do split, solid or Nerf to picatinny in a variety of colours. Tell them what blaster its for and they can match the length. Be aware they are horribly busy right now though.
Blaster parts sell the Sly Dev ones.
Some 20mm rail stuff fits straight on the Nerf ones, my old sight, a Gun Tuff one (8 JM Ramsbottom, Ebay) fitted straight on. This one is all metal so I didn't want to risk it.

Old sight on top rail.

I just ordered one of those guntuff ones to see of it makes any difference to my accuracy/tacticoolness. You are welcome to have a go with it this weekend justajolt.

They work great, I set mine to hit a paper plate at 20 ft 3 shots in 5 with Koosh. They remove the need to aim as much. On the RS put it on the front rail on top the battery box, nthey don't work well on the top mount as its too high for short range use up there. It does stick up above the top rail on that front mount.

Thanks for the advice. At the moment it's on the Retaliator on the barrel rail. Might have to fix some picatinny to the main body of the blaster at some point to move it more central.

Thanks, Old Man Nerf. I want to 5n33p too!

Looking on ebay, there seems to be a lot of similar looking ones around the same 12-15 range. Only difference seems to be the 20mm, 11mm etc. Which one did you get?

Is what I've just brought. Same as the one old noob has on his rapidstrike above - just brought it direct from the supplier.
OldNoob

That is the one I had. Its a good price too, represents far better value than the Modulus "sight." That seller is where I bought my chrono too.

Two zombies with one titan rocket... might be able to combine postage.

Thanks to the F10555 "Supressor" I got from Gordy I now have scopage and silencer action, so I thought as the sun was shining I would venture out and answer a variety of questions by photographing the rampatrooper in my local park!
Results- Total badassery and two more players for this weeks game.

Gordy

Awesome, that looks great.  Glad you like the supressor.

Just wanted to say 'thanks!'

When OldNoob first posted this, I added one of those ebay reflex sights to my basket and ordered it on payday. It arrived today, and i've just played with it on my modded EAT... it's not a secure fit on the Nerf rail, but good enough to plink around the house

I used a 25 round drum with knock off suction darts, fired down the main hallway of my house, about 25 to 30 feet. First 25 was massive tweaking. Next 25 was minor adjusting. Final 25 was pure testing...

I didn't get it perfect, but close enough. 2 in 5 shots within 5cm of the target point. 2 within 10cm to a foot, and the final 1 in 5 was generally nowhere near... 3 to 5 feet away...

The impressive one was that within a 25 drum, there were a couple of shots that knocked another one away because they hit so close.

So to OldNoob, a big thanks. I'd never appreciated that a modded Nerf gun was that accurate. The fact that a blind bloke like me can put so many rounds so close to a target point using a sight to maintain a bead on the target is great!

A second big thanks to Boff, it's his spring that made the EAT so good!
OldNoob

My son swears by his EAT for accuracy. Now get some spilt picatinny to glue on top the top rail do your sight stays on. I have that on my rampage, works great.
Glad the sight was useful, I love mine.
