Safe paintjob colour schemes?

Has anyone got a good idea for a colour scheme which looks good but also is safe to be used out in public with our tight gun controls?

Thanks. Callum

We don't have tight control on anything not classed as a "Replica firearm." Provided you are staying away from all over Noob black or firearms outline dress up kits the general rule is brighter colours are best. I tend to keep the orange parts like jam doors, triggers and barrels orange, then go to town on the rest. A few paint jobs here if you want a browse. The first few were made for closed field use but all the rest are UK legal.  Remember "orange tip" is a US only law.
Remember it's also about how you use your gear. Don't play in public spaces at night, in schools or other local authority controlled buildings without permission and be sure to inform plod via 101 if a group of you are intending playing in a public park.
If you attend any games organised by forum backed groups such as GuN then you can run almost anything. I regularly use the Kryptek camo Rampatrooper pictured in my album at my regular game and have never had a problem.

Your hydrodipping stuff looks really cool. Shame I don't have the skill or patience to do it myself. Think I might have to give one of those Elite paint jobs on a hammer shot a go though.

Gear up.

The only way to develop a skill is to practice it. You can buy dip starter kits off eBay, just film and activator. That's how I learned.

I just bought activator and a film off eBay. Used a big tub I had lying around the house, watched Foam Data Service YouTube video on hydrodipping about a hundred times, then just gave it a go.

The set up is the bit that takes the time, and be prepared to have a few goes. When you get it right it's awesome.

while GuN events are run on a private property, the chapels we use are in populated areas, and the fencing often backs onto residents properties.  We ask players to respect the orange tip rule, and ask that paint schemes are not black all over.

To be honest, even sticking to brighter colours, shouldn't stop you being creative, take TBR or Phils paint jobs for example
