Sawn Off Sledgefire!

I was thinking of trying to single down and remove the front barrel of a Sledgefire with the only problem I can think being how would you load it? Obviously you would no longer use the shells but how would that work anyone got any idea  Question [/u]

Couldn't you just cut the front end a bit shorter leaving it just long enough to cover the shell. Might make priming a wee bit harder but should be do'able. You could fix either  a singled shell or stock shell with the back drilled out into the breech and rear load it or you might now be able to front loader with the shorter barrel??? You'd still need to break the barrel to prime though.
The stock is easy removed.

Good luck

If you want a shorter sledge, take the stock off, the faux barrel is meaningless in performance terms but fairly essential for handling. If you want alternative ammo loads get some shells from Lasergnomes.

Thanks guys I will give it a go and update you and if it works I will end up with a shotgun pistol! Very Happy
Rab

This is what I was thinking

Or mag212 really has minimised it, loses a bit of the shotgun function though.

EDIT
now that I look at it again, cutting it short doesn't make a huge difference.  I'd maybe just remove the stock, you could always put it back together again.

You can also get write a cool plug in stock block for where you remove the stock, Blasterparts sell it, it has a sling mount on. You only need to undo the 4 screws in the handle to pop the stock out.
If you like it that size then you can always shorten the barrel after, just don't cut it shorter than the shells, that way they will still fit and work fine.
