Shell Screws

I made a slight error in judgement on where I'm placing my pair of Stryfe battery trays onto The Typhon and as a result I'm having to rethink where I'm putting them.

One option takes out two screw ports for screws holding the shell together (whereas I'd only originally was going to take out one).  I'm worried that this will weaken the hold between the shell parts,  significantly in this area. Are there any techniques for adding more screws or even different ways of he shells can be attached?

If you want to add strength you can use nuts and bolts through the shell halves, graft in new screw ports from scrap or put a flat plate on top of the blaster with fixings on both halves, as seen on a flat top RS.
In this instance a picture would help.

I'm sorry,  for some reason my Imgur doesn't want to upload at the mo.

If you look at this (and ignore the labels)...

.. You see the two screw ports immediately above the battery tray?  I'll be having to cut them out.  Now in fairness there will be a well screwed rough cut devconed to both shells just below it but I'm concerned that taking out two screw points in one area of a blaster that has so few to start may be asking for trouble.

Add some sheet plastic over the hole and  nuts and bolts between the roughcut shell and the Modulus shell and you should be good. Most of the load from priming the roughcut will be front to back anyway. Be aware that springer integrations place the most stress on joints.
