slingfire slip clutch

Planning on doing a 5k slingfire for my wife. Can i just fill the spring area of the slip clutch with hot glue?
OldNoob

No, it will fall out.   Correct and long lasting method here I have this actual blaster, now well over 1000 rounds, still good.

Ok, simple enough. Thanks!

And an easy, correct and long lasting method here...

Shipping is my main reason for not ordering a crap ton of stuff from you. I could justify a $10 part here and there to the wife but in her eyes a bulk order would be considered hoarding. I am seriously considering opening an online store in the us to carry a stock of all the wonderful parts from around the world to save on shipping cost and time for people in the states.

If you want to have a chat about that sort of stuff, I'd be happy to lend a hand. I helped BlasterTECH start up so I'm more than happy to lend a hand with business advice. Oh and you'd be welcome to discuss reselling BSUK stuff, too. Smile

I have wanted to upgrade my slingfire for a while. However I worry that the lever will not withstand the extra weight. Should I be worried about that?

The mechanism can handle a 5+kg spring upgrade just fine provided you follow our fitting instructions here. CarrierII has had his Slingfire in service for many moons now and it's not looking like it wants to explode yet.

*puts mod hat on * Word of advice, too: if a thread is older than a month, start a new one rather than resurrecting old threads. The exception is if you have something significant to add to the discussion. Smile
