Post Homemades Picture Thread  Reply with quote
Well here is my new homemade prototype. I was mass producing R3Ls but that got boring after the tenth one so I drew up plans for this. Yes that guy on youtube made this but my original idea was for this to be pump action and mag fed so I made a prototype based on his for reference on sizes. Its not the prettiest snap ever but its getting mid 80s for ranges, its dead accurate, and it is super comfortable. With out further ado I present the MP-Snap 1.0

It has a Ls and NF spring in it.

Nothing special on the other side.

Iron sights

Primed

It has a less than perfect air seal but oh well
Here is the hand gun version of the MP-Snap. I call this the MP-1.5 or the Half pint. This version is very small and has 3" of draw. I use it for indoor wars, gets around 55'. Writeup soon.

EDIT

This thread has been renamed and stickied. Post info on your homemade contraptions here. Same rules apply as the 'Modifications and Paintjobs Thread'.

Very Nice. I like how it can be made more compact. Are the rings on the foregrip for your fingers or for dart storage?

Either I can't determine scale in the picture, or you have a huge hand to pull THAT trigger haha. Just an observation.

The handgun is a tad larger than a NF. The rifle without the stock is about the size of a Recon with a stock

Aw Yeah! Awww Yeah!
Gentlemen I present S.A.M.P.SO.N (Super Awesome Mr Pzowned Specialty fOr Nerf), devourer of heavens, and the thing that will own +bows (hopefuly).

Very large, the exact same size as a Longstrike

Writeup, for the contest, coming soon to a forum near you.

I cant decide however, whether or not to use a spring, or bow arms to power this baby, or both...

Pull and release SNAP made from a broken ball pump. Hits about 60, 70 on a good day with stock streamlines from a 9/16 barrel.

Large SNAP Carbine - 36" in length without a barrel. Has 7" of draw though, and shoots 95-110.

Standard wooden clothespin trigger

Full compression industrial springs

Shorter 4" draw with removable recon stock - super comfy

EDIT:

Pump SNAP Carbine for comission for engnerf

Full compression

Name he wanted signed on the pump grip - etape for extra grip.

Small SNAP with 6 dart hopper and easy prime (hence the craft foam on priming handle) for small friend. Hits about 80ft with very gentle prime. Springs can be easily upgraded (mine is same build and hits 100-110 with first dart).
I can commission these, just PM me here or on NH.

While I appreciate how pertinent your comments were, in the future please refrain from text only posts. Such questions can usually be answered via pm. This helps keep the thread more compact and allows uninterrupted viewing of people's homemades. Thanks! Smile
