Crossbow I did a while back. Base coat of matt black and then brass on the main body bits and a dry brush of copper to finish. Used an old recon stock as it looked not bad on it and it also has an extra srtongarm spring added and the plunger and barrels taped up and resealed. the top two barrels shoot fairly hard but looses some power on the bottom two. My son rocks this at FDT quite a bit and it seems to work well.

Just finished a pistol modification/paintjob, another "Zombie Response Team" theme, all nice and grimy, my first go at painting a pistol. I've also chucked in an upgraded spring and swapped out the LED for a white one. I've kept with the Matte clearcoat like it's older brother (even though I'm not the biggest fan of Matte) for that nice and grimy 'used' feel.

And one with it's older brother Smile

A painted Nitefinder, just something that was lying around. I did try putting in an extra spring but it wouldn't compress enough.

A simple bolt-action retaliator, I can do a tutorial if you want. I definitely prefer the bolt-action to the top slide, it is faster and much more comfortable because you don't have a rail digging into your hand.

My first full on  mod and paint job for the LotR competition over on Nerf reddit.

Nothing special compared to some of the stuff on here, but it came out how I wanted it to.

Bow arms and stock removed.

6kg spring, Upgraded catch spring, air release hole sealed and extensions to the priming bar.

Halfords matt black and ford signal green

So following on from Ran, here is my take on the Guardian Crossbow; the Rhys Bow....

A little present for my Star Wars mad nephew. First attempt at using decal paper. Came out well, it was a lot easier to use that I thought. I loved working on this blaster, the way it came apart makes it so easy to paint!

So what to do with the 27 5X5's I now have sitting on my workbench? First we have Suicide Squad inspired "The Joker" I've made two of these so did one green and the other purple and just mixed the shells when putting them back together to get the opposite quarters. the joker logo is just hand painted on. No internal mods apart from a re lube of everything. Think it turned out well, Harley Quinn next I think Very Happy

My latest build, a stryfle called the freedom fighter painted in patriotic flag camo, 2s lipo in tray powering honey badgers. M4 sd looking 3d printed kit, which was sent in black after requesting orange so I was forced to paint it a little more colorful.

Introducing the Gliter-strike. I painted this for my daughter hence the very girly paint job.

Paint:
Primer - Halfords white primer
Base - Plastikote Pink and Porcelain
Detail - Citidel purple
Top - Halfords clear lacquer
Finally I added fine gliter, as she's a 6 year old and loves anything pink and glittery.

Love it 💖
Have a look on Nerf reddit at the leaders of the rebellion competition, well worth an entry.

Not totally finished, I really want to paint all the white bits matt black, same for the pump fore grip. Just not got the time at the moment.

BSUK mega spring and stock adapter block. (Retaliator stock fitted)
Worker elite barrel convertors
Full length Nerf to picatinny top rail
Ebay reflex sight
3d printed dart holder converted to side sadle.
Cut a bit off the shell in front of the drum for easier reloading and to prevent my hand getting mashed

Wasnt intended  too, but turned out pretty much Like Will's on an MTB you tube vid.

Hits like a train 😎

Looks great! I am going to eventually do something similar with my Rotofury. Do you plan to do rear loading?

I'm planning on copying MTB Will too.  Got the elite inserts in and waiting on the stock mount and spring from BSUK.  Then I just need some rails from China....

So, with my revonix in pieces after the kids jammed it catastrophically (never let them put more than 6 discs in a drum section...), and having enjoyed the diatron so much at GuN8, I ordered a pyragon...

Its a big beast, and needs a stock, luckily, during the house move I found my missing raider stock, that the previous owner had sprayed yellow... badly...

I resprayed it white, hand painted the butt and connector, and then picked out the detail in red - should have really mixed some bright orange into this to give a more nerfy colour, but hey... topped off with some spray clear coat
