Welcome to Britnerf!
Got to agree on the mega, even as an avowed performance purist I have 3 mega blasters.

Yello.
Based in Derby,  I've always been interested in the hobby and recently have been reading and watching everything. EVERYTHING.  Anyway..  I'm ready to take my relationship with Nerf to the next level and have purchased some more blasters to specifically mod.

Armoury at the moment stands at:
Rampage,
Stryfe,
Roughcut,
Maverick,
Couple of Rebelles

Plan at the mo is some basic internal mods on the rampage,  roughcut, and stryfe for practice then I've got any idea for a Modulus with a roughcut master key integration in a way I haven't seen anyone do yet and some nice internals for the modulus..  Because who doesn't like nice internals?

PS
I'm hoping to become active with the groups I can reach and may end up bringing lots of little people stunted by lack of age.
... And I'm planning on a rapid red sleeper for my daughter.
... And I'm really interested in the application of outrunner brushless motors for the modulus.
...  Because
Ambition level: Warlord
Skill level NOOB.

Hi all, my name is Daniel and I'm based in Kensington.  I would love to meet other nerfers but have struggled to find anyone, so if you are based in London please let me know!  My current arsenal is simply a firestrike, jolt, stormtrooper blaster (the small one) and a Doominator.  I am most definitely a novice.

Thanks Sparky, yeah I'd love to learn more and get stuck in, I'm a big Star Wars fan so after getting involved in some games I'll probably buy one of the larger blasters, but something tells me they'll be in desperate need of a modification!

Probably a bit late now, as I have had a presence on the forum for 2 months now, but Hi, im Lord Sparrow, ex-youtuber, gamer and avid Nerf modder/trader. The main place you may find me in is the trading section, but I also post on the war and questions forums. I attend GuN, and some NIC wars that pop up near me.

Greetings BritNerflings!

Wow - an intro page. Don't get me started  Wink

Bought my first blaster (yes, a Maverick...) about 10 years ago to CosMod for a costume party - then never fired a shot in anger with it til my then girlfriend bought a Tek-6 at a community fair for a dollar about 18 months ago, then for my birthday got a Hammershot for me and a Sweet Revenge for her...

Gotta tell you, those Mavericks breed like goddamn Tribbles.

My shed now overfloweth, and to escape I've had to hack my way out - one mod at a time. I'd war more if I could, but the local scene doesn't cater so well to my - errhrrrm - demographic Very Happy Anyway now-days I'm mostly looking after my high-maintenance 4-month-old baby girl and don't get off the property so much, and shed-time is severely curtailed. Thank the Gods for hi-speed broadband internet and a touch of OCD, otherwise I'd get nothing done.

Catch you out in the foamy tide!

Nscrup.

Hi everyone!
I'm sort of new to the Nerfing scene, I haven't done any modding of my own but I recently aquired a Retaliator that was painted to look like a Torgue assault rifle from the Borderlands games, I've watched a few Nerf in YouTubers and got inspired to join this community in the hopes of finding events near me and to just have a muck about with some cool cosmetic blasters!

Hi,

I've been lurking for a long while, and have gone to a few wars, and I think i'm now fairly experienced. I'm looking forward to this BritNerf organisers pack i've heard about, as I'd like to start my own unique event in the new year.

Hello everyone,

I actually joined a long, looooong time ago and have been lurking ever since, but I think now might be a good time to introduce myself.

I've been nerfing for a while now, around 1-2 years, and I have been known to (pay others) to mod my guns as long as I have the money and resources to do so. Though my guns are modded, I am still a wee bab when it comes to modding, but I'd be very interested in learning more about it.

Gun wise, I don't really do 'small'. I usually main my modded Demolisher, but I'm currently working on making a Stampede with a very high ammo capacity, and a ...very special Rhino Fire (watch this space!).

Words like "practical" and "easy-to-use" don't really fly with my style of play. I don't find the N-Strike guns appealing unless they are BIG (like the Rhino Fire, Stampede, or Havok-Fire for example). As you'd expect , I therefore adore the Mega Series, and thought I don't own as much of the series as I'd like, I'd really like a Mastodon or Rotofury in the future (fingers crossed at Christmas!).

Though Guns like the Rapidstrike, for example, may have a good fire rate and be practical in most situations, I wouldn't enjoy using it because it isn't BIG enough (although maybe fusing two of them together would sorta maybe kinda fix that problem), and even my pistol, the Cycloneshock, has been attributed by my other peers as a 'handcannon'.

I like to play the heavy in wars when I can. I specialize in assualt, suppression, F U N , and maybe a little in leadership. I do not specialize in marksmanship or light weaponary. I should also note that surprisingly, for someone who is 6'3, I have been known to be notoriusly stealthy.

I hope in the not-to-distant future to lurk less around the site when I'm not busy with university work, and maybe learn more about being more tactical in Nerf wars, savvy around my Nerf guns, and being more known the community in general. (Hopefully)

Finally, I am currently 20, and I live in the deepest and most darkest region of the UK: Devon.

When I have the time, I hope to interact with you lot a whole lot more!

- BISHOPII

P.S Guns I currently own:

-Bigshock (Modded... maybe)

-Cycloneshock (Modded)

-Demolisher 2-1 (Modded)

-Stampede (In the process of modding)

-Rhino Fire (Intending to mod A LOT in the future)

P.S.S

First Gun: Demolisher 2-1

I've been on here for quite a few months but never posted on this thread!

I'm Pete from Bath and I've been modding for around 3 years now.

I've started a YouTube channel "UK Foam" in hopes that I can share some of my ideas onto the internet to save other people time =] I've made a lot of mistakes with Nerf blasters and don't want people making the same ones!

I recently watched your guide on taking the locks out of a Crossbolt Pete,  I felt it was very good and showed the detail you needed to reconstruct the mechanisms afterwards whereas most tubers would say something along the lines of,  'Most of this is locks so I'm just going to strip those out' - cut to either time-lapse or simply finished blaster,  so kudos sir. Having said that,  I haven't followed it so perhaps you missed something lol.

Haha thanks! I had haven't missed anything major that's for sure! I look forward to producing more content!

I think being a science teacher enables me to explain or show details to an adequate depth.

Did you see the final clip of it firing?

EDIT

Please keep threads on topic. If you want to discuss this either use the PM system or start a new thread. -Boff

Hi everyone,

I've had an account of this here site for quite a while, but dipping out of the hobby prevented me from doing anything with it.
So, let me reintroduce my self;

My name is Alex, i'm 17 from Hertfordshire. I've been in the hobby intermittently for a long time, but I'm back now, I think.

My modding style was quite old school, with longshots and such being my focus, but recently, it has kind of evolved, to lipo powered rapidstrikes and the rest.
Other hobbies include radio control and robotics

My entire Nerf collection is rather large at this point, so I'll spare you the full list, but:
1st blaster - maverick
Favourites - brass breeched longshot (yes, really)
               - Strayven (needs a serious electrical overhaul at some point)

So I'll try to be active this time (school permitting)
- robbal46
