Another good night at the Glasgow area venue at Zone 74 skatepark. A full house again with just about all tickets sold and then about 8 referee kids joining in as well so over 40 players again. I had a very sore throat today as I was out singing my heart out at a Primal Scream gig the night before (showing my age Very Happy ) and by the end of the night I could hardly speak but luckily Mr FDT was on hand to finish my sentences Very Happy Myself, Mr FDT, my other half and another one of the regular ref's from Transgression Park in Edinburgh were looking after the action tonight and there was plenty of it.

The usual start of two rounds of lockdown with a stalemate in the first round as both teams didn't venture out of their own bases much but a better second round as we encouraged them them out and it ended up with a win for one team. Next up was Domination with a quick win in the first round and then a much longer back and forth game in the second round with both teams running the clock almost right down a couple of times, it was really close stuff and one of the closest games I've seen in a while but a win finally fir the other team so it finished 1 each. Then we had two rounds of standard HvZ which was its usual fast paced fun and finished off with all out free for all.

A good crowd with a good number of first time players who gave great feedback and quite a few young kids that really seemed to get into it, not so many adults this month but a lot of teens and a 10yr+ so it was a good mix.

Was also my first night using all my own equipment and the new slightly smaller and lighter riot sheilds were very good, this means some of the younger kids can get a shot of a sheild and it's a bit easier for them to manage. Think I will top up my dart pool for the next one as we seemed to have a lot of chewed darts tonight and the rest are getting a bit tired.

Looks like it will be January for the next night at Zone 74, date to be confirmed.

I'm here to fling foam and chew gum and I'm all out of gum.

Sounds like fun Al, much better than working nightshift.

I'm itching for another game at Zone 74 love that variation in terrain.

And the player pool keeps growing too, awesome.

Yup well done Big Al.

Good to see so many new faces - I've requested 21st January so will confirm when I can.

Agreed Rab - it's a great park. I'd love another go at playing there Wink
